More from Waynesboro to Charlottesville to Little Flower

Jesse O, this one's for you

Another TransAm'er: Gary, aka "Bear Bag," who we met a few miles outside Charlottesville

Lewis and Clark sculpture in Charlottesville, inscription reads: "Bold and Farseeing Pathfinders who carried the Flag of the Young Republic to the Western Ocean and Revealed an Unknown Empire to the Uses of Mankind." Sacagawea is kneeling at their feet on the other side. For all that we've said about how impressive the Lewis and Clark journey was, this statue ruined it.
