Pacific City to Lincoln City

We stopped at a beautiful private grade school off Old Highway 101 on the way to Lincoln City, where the director let us picnic, use the bathrooms and fill up our water bottles.

We're biking coast-to-coast! Read along as we follow the Transamerica bicycle route from Oregon to Virginia!

I'm just drooling away and day dreaming about quitting my job, selling the house, car, and other bikes just to get out on my ol' trusty steed for a romp across the country. Please remember, when you feel like crying or yelling at the 20th flat tire, think, "we could be in an office cubicle listening to customers complaining, and paying for $3.00 gasoline."

Actually, the cheeze whiz taste much better if you lick it off the back of your hand rather than a spoon. Add a bit a grass chewed by a cow, and you add some further texture.
I'm impressed by your courage and wonderful stories. I look forward to hearing more.
