That's all for now, folks

Hello from Mt. Idaho! We were hoping to upload more pictures to the blog, but a small sampling will have to do. We'll try to get some more up soon (Note to Jesse O. again - I think it was the library computers, not my camera.)

We're staying outside Grangeville, Idaho with a woman we met as we were loading the bikes (and then changing a flat tire) outside the grocery store at her beautiful mountain home. Jo has four Appaloosa horses, a spunky dog named Gem, some cats and resident deer, as well as a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. Tomorrow we head off onto Highway 12 (well, eventually), which parallels Lewis and Clark's trail west and cuts through the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states. It also marks the beginning of our climb up Lolo Pass, situated right on the Idaho/Montana border. There is much more to say about the past few days but its getting late, so we will update from Missoula, if not before. We're hoping to meet my dad and little sister after they finish their backpacking trip near Big Creek, Idaho early this coming week.
